Apple Music was launched at the end of June, and the company offered a three-month trial period to every user. When the trial period is over, users can choose between individual plan and a family plan. The price of the individual plan is $9.99 per month, while the price of a family plan is $14.99 per month.

Back in August, Apple Music had 11 million users on three-month trial. For many, the trial period ended, and now when Tim Cook shared the numbers, it is clear that many customers decided to pay for the streaming-music service.

Mr. Cook said: “The runaway here is really good.”

He didn’t talk about the numbers only, he also shared a few reasons why he loves this streaming-music service. One of the reasons is the fact that it “brings the art back to music”, as Cook explained.

“Personally, I’m discovering a whole lot more music than I was before”, he added.

Tim Cook also talked about the latest version of Apple TV and he confirmed that Apple will accept the orders for the new streaming box set, starting from Monday.
